First joint event advisers clinic a success
When the Event Advisers' clinic in Prague took place at the end of February, it was the first time that participants representing different disciplines gathered together for such a clinic. The clinic programme included joint lectures for foot and mountain bike orienteers, as well as separate sessions concentrating on discipline-specific issues. Both the organisers and the participants were satisfied with the weekend.
According to one of the clinic leaders, Dusan Vystavel from the IOF Foot Orienteering Commission, the clinic turned out very good: "From my point of view it was a very successful clinic. Besides the normal activities, there was an opportunity to exchange experiences between MTBO and FootO, and a very interesting lecture from our guest, the Czech national team coach Radek Novotny. I think that we should definitely organise joint clinics in the future too."
