Ski orienteering season begins
Ski orienteering world ranking season kicks off in Finland this weekend, and the first World Cup round will be held in Russia in January. Besides Russia, the ski orienteering World Cup rounds will be staged in Bulgaria, Romania and Sweden. An IOF Event Advisers Clinic is organised in conjunction with the World Cup events both in Russia and in Romania.
The Ski Orienteering Event Advisers Clinics are organised for the education and recruitment of new IOF licensed Event Advisers. The national orienteering federations are kindly asked to identify and enter suitable candidates.
In addition to individuals seeking to obtain an IOF Event Adviser license, the Ski Orienteering Commission also welcomes to the clinic team leaders and athletes interested in acquainting themselves with the Competition Rules for IOF Ski Orienteering Events and other ski orienteering related matters.
